Introducing Grove Center for Therapy

I started Grove Center for Therapy to provide a unique space for healing and growth that is focused on providing my clients with a positive therapy experience. I wanted to create an online practice that felt personal and client-centered. I wanted my practice to feel connected to the people and community I work with. At Grove Center for Therapy, I strive to create a space where it is ok to draw outside the lines, to consider every person’s unique needs and issues, and to meet their needs without any unnecessary obstacles getting in the way. My care for putting my clients first means always treating them in an ethical and professional way. I believe in my clients’ inherent worth and want their time in therapy to be well spent.

The name Grove Center for Therapy comes from my beautiful community, the Mac Groveland neighborhood. Despite being an online practice, I want this space to feel connected to my community. I’m proud to add a space of healing in our beautiful neighborhood. Trees and nature evoke feelings of strength, resilience and safety for me. A grove of trees reminds me of the relationships we would all love to have, providing beauty, safety, and a calm space in our lives where we can be our most peaceful, authentic selves.

Trees are kind of amazing, aren’t they? Their root systems are so strong they can withstand intense storms, their branches are flexible and resilient and provide a welcoming space to diverse wildlife, their leaves grow and shed to meet their needs throughout different seasons, and they have a remarkable ability to heal. Sometimes they require pruning and some extra water, but so do we, right? That’s how I hope your life will feel after therapy, providing a solid foundation that can weather any storm, flexibility to navigate life’s challenges, and an ability to let go of what is no longer serving you and make space for new growth. I’m confident you’ll create room in your life for the experiences and relationships you deserve.

I hope Grove Center for Therapy can be a welcoming space for people as they embark on a journey of personal growth. It might be one of the hardest and most fulfilling things you can do, and I am confident it will be worth it!
