Welcome, I’m Anna.
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and I’m here to help!
If you are ready to invest in yourself, but aren’t sure how to start, you’ve come to the right place. You’ve made the courageous decision to reach out for help, and I will be honored to guide you as you discover your strengths, find new meaning and purpose, and discover the joy of living your life in line with your most authentic self. Together we’ll tackle the issues that are leaving you feeling stuck and lost. We’ll find a way to heal your relationship with yourself and those that matter most to you.
You deserve support. I provide a non-judgmental, compassionate, and safe space to take on all the hard stuff. I’m honest and direct and will challenge you in a gentle and empathetic way. I will strive to make sure you feel safe and cared for as we work through any shame or hurt that might be preventing you from thriving. We will find ways to use creativity and humor in this journey, and I’ll hold you accountable and encourage you when it all feels like too much.
Anna Savelsberg, MA, LMFT. Founder of Grove Center for Therapy.
Is my approach right for you?
You’re looking for a therapist who:
collaborates with you on your goals and takes your concerns seriously
helps you recognize and use your strengths
provides empathetic, concrete feedback, tools, and assignments using evidence-based practices
sees the whole you, not just a diagnosis
is trained and experienced to see your problems in your broader context (relationships, cultural context, spiritual beliefs, family history, and life circumstances)
Did you know meaningful connection is associated with higher rates of happiness, reduced stress, an improved immune system, and lower risk of diseases like dementia and heart disease?
I’m a systemic therapist, which means relationships are a huge part of the work I do- I love working with couples to improve their connection and communication and to tackle tough issues head on. I’m also passionate about helping individuals with their relationships, whether that’s individual couples therapy, coaching parents with young or adult children, or helping people navigate difficult friendships or complicated relationships with their family of origin. I will help you identify and tackle what’s getting in the way of having the relationships you want to have. I’d love to help you find the authentic connection you crave in your life!
Meet Anna Savelsberg, MA, LMFT
I’m human, too!
I grew up in Saint Paul, but I had the privilege of living in different countries and cultures before landing back in my hometown. I understand that life is complex. My background is in music and I had a soul-searching career change early on before discovering therapy as my calling. I recognize the challenge of finding your passion. I’ve been married to my husband, Matt, for 13 years and get that marriage is wonderful, messy and challenging. We live in the Mac Groveland neighborhood in St. Paul, MN with our three daughters and love and care about our beautiful community! When I’m not working you’ll find me spending time with my family and friends, or working on our latest DIY house project. I love gardening, being in nature, cooking new recipes, and traveling.

About Grove Center for Therapy
I started Grove Center for Therapy to provide a unique, client-focused space for healing and growth in the Twin Cities. I wanted to create an online practice that felt personal, client-centered, and connected to the people and community I work with. I’m honored to provide access to individual, couples, and family therapy throughout Minnesota through my online practice.
The name Grove Center for Therapy comes from my beautiful community, the Mac Groveland neighborhood. Despite being an online practice, I feel deeply connected to my Saint Paul community and am proud to add a space for healing in the Mac Grove neighborhood. Trees represent strength, resilience, and safety to me. A grove of trees reminds me of the relationships we strive for, providing beauty, safety, and calm in our lives and supporting us in being our most peaceful, authentic selves.
I hope Grove Center for Therapy can be a welcoming space for you as you embark on this journey of personal growth.
